Waves come in,

Waves go out.

The beach is what,

I’m all about!

The sand is warm,

The sun is bright,

The water’s salty,

Such a delight!

I like to build

A moat around,

A sandcastle,

Out of a mound.

Will it be there,

When I return?

Maybe not,

‘Cause waves churn...

Lollipops

Lollipops are such a treat,

Picking a color takes time.

Today it’ll be red or yellow.

Usually it’s green, the lime.

Swirled ones have all colors,

They’re even bigger in size!

They take a lot more time to eat,

Blended flavors, how wise!  

What color would you get?

What flavor would it be?

If I could have a pop a day,

I’d choose a variety!

Holding Hands

Of all the things,

Important to me,

Holding hands,

Has got to be,

The best way,

To be sure,

Safety is there,

At the store.

Or in the mall,

Or parking lot,

Or restaurant,

It means a lot.

Even crossing streets,

When holding tight,

We’re safe beside,

Our partner, all aright!
