Nathan said to his Pappy.

Oh how cute, oh how sweet!

It made his Pappy so happy!

I'm So Proud

I had a task,

To make my bed.

I am so proud,

"Good job", Mom said!

It wasn't easy,

I do admit.

But WOW!  I'm glad,

I finished it!

If I Could Fly

If I could fly,

I’d say goodbye,

And take a trip on wings.

I’d soar with eagles,

Perch with gulls,

Glide with pelicans.

Wind at my back,

Air moving me,

Glorious views begin.

The journey’s sweet,

My trip is good…

I'm a big boy now,

I can use a booster.

God Hears

Since God hears our prayers,

And always, always really cares,

He is forever at our side,

In His love we can abide.

Speak to Him throughout the day,

He never tires from what we say,

Whether our hearts are happy or sad,

Looking to Him makes Him glad!

YiaYia Says

When YiaYia says I'm beautiful,

What does that really mean?

It means she loves me very much.

To her I'm like a queen!

I'm thankful for her bond of love.

She'll always be someone I'm fond of!!!

Grocery Shopping

Every week we need to shop,

For food to eat, drinks and pops,

It’s like a chore, but it’s ok,

Because we need food for every day.

I like to ride in the grocery cart,

The view from there is really smart.

I can see things that are high,

And ask for good ones that I spy!

Sometimes I’m told I can get,

Some cereal or cookies yet!

But sometimes we are in a hurry,

And get only what is necessary.
