It is with a grin, I do declare,
I like to eat outside, right here!
Having a picnic’s such a treat,
Eating like this really neat!
There’s sandwiches and apple pie,
Fruit, cookies, chicken and flies.
Flies? Why yes, I’m
here to tell,
Sometimes they like our food as well!
Shoo flies, it’s time to flee,
Flies aren’t supposed to eat by me!
Time to be on your way,
Time for "shoo fly pie" today?
